I Can Do It!

One of my favorite creations lately has to be the belt I made my little princess. As she leaps into her independence, I find myself conceding to mismatch socks, polka dot pants paired with striped tops, and pajama dresses as daytime wear. I know someone out there knows what I'm talking about! ;)

During her new found determination to get herself dressed, we began to have a problem with pants. She is a uniquely tall little girl with a small waist (If only I had the same problem), so a lot of her pants fit her in length, but not in the waist. We found a few great jeans with elastic adjustments in the waist, but not all of the super cute clothing she has comes with this adjustment. So she needed a belt. Not only did she need a belt, she needed a belt she could open and close herself since she is potty trained. After scouring the internet for days on end, I came across some ridiculous priced options, and a few things that weren't exactly what I needed. So I began brainstorming and the "I Can Do It: Velcro Belt" was born!

The super cool thing about this belt is that it has a velcro closure so she can undo it all by herself, and fasten it on her own. She LOVES that freedom.

After making a few for her, I decided to make a few for the boutique as well, and why not add a few designs for the fellas.

I love pairing the colors to bring out something special in the design.

This really is one of my favorite new products. What are some products you couldn't 'parent' without?
